October 2-8, 2017

Still need to work on Lynn’s Visit creation – but getting the pictures together in this album.

  • Packers win against Dallas with a nail-biting game!
  • In the nation – a mass shooting last week in Las Vegas is still a big part of the news.
  • FoxConn selected a site in Racine to build.
  • Another tropical storm Hurricane hit the USA in New Orleans….(Hurricanes this year: Harvey, Irma, Maria, Nate)

Project Time! Putting rebate checks to work!

Jenny also started focusing on healthy food choices and an exercise routine. She is getting a little boost with a Beach Body Coach starting out with a friend from work (Libby). First week is going great!

And this is half of the CSA box this week! We are having to freeze things because there is too much to use – even if it is healthy!

And Teddy is ready for Halloween 2017! An Ewok.

Carrying on with the sewing projects. Making Christmas bags to replace wrapping paper. They will stay in the family and be reused each year. So when you get a gift in one this year you need to use it for a gift for someone in the family the following year. It was good that I did the practice bags – figured out some things.

Starting to put some Fall decorations out…..

Taking Bill’s car to Milwaukee to go to a Dr. appointment this next week. The battery had to be recharged again. We haven’t been using it enough again.

And Bill thinks he is going to start driving short distances soon….I figured out it has been 5 years now since he was driving……

Talking on the phone!

Stacking pumpkins

Reading books!

Feeling better again and active! Talking more and starting to use the same words and sounds consistently. Vocabulary is starting to bloom.

Sandy had a weekend home. She also filled the HR position in Edmonton! Her last day there will be November 16th – home for the holidays and shouldn’t have to go back.

Annalies battled a virus during recruiting week – but looks like she has recovered well. 😉

Jamie made soup. She doesn’t usually make soup. Looks good!

Mike had an elbow procedure done this week and all went well.

They are putting gutters on the house and getting it ready for winter rains so that water moves away from the house. They had to bring in the vintage patio set but it seems to fit nicely in the house too.

Meeting more people around the Lakes. Neither of them feels like it is a rush to get to California for the winter – but they are still planning on being in Hemet again in the bus and meeting up with others.
